Hello and welcome to Next Level Whitetails! I am Jason Heller the creator of Next Level Whitetails. I won't get too in depth as to the history of my life but to give you a basic understanding I come from Illinois. I grew up chasing whitetail deer and fell in love with bowhunting at the age of 12. I am a first generation bowhunter who was self taught off of hunting videos and the internet. I killed my first deer with a bow at the age of 13 and my first Pope and Young class whitetail, a 150" 10 point at the age of 16. Two weeks later I was fortunate enough to harvest my second Pope and Young class buck, a 130" 8 point. Now, sitting here at the age of 19, I have five Pope and Young class whitetails on the wall as well as a 161" buck I shot with my muzzleloader. These last three hunting seasons have been a whirlwind of ups and downs. Fortunatley for me they have had more ups. After I killed my first Pope and Young buck, the next year brought me only a couple of does. Since then the last two season I've tagged out both seasons. And since that first Pope and Young buck I harvested, I've been a whitetail addict ever since. That's what's led me to create Next Level Whitetail. I am by no means an expert, or claim to be one, I am simply fascinated by whitetail deer and hunting them. Part of the reason for creating Next Level Whitetails is to learn more about deer and the hunting industry as a whole. I hope you enjoy the website and I look forward to what i can bring to Next Level Whitetail in the future! Thanks
